I am from around the centuries between 14th to 18th. After this, some say I have died finally from a stake to the heart...or possibly...the sun or fire finally caught me and burnt me out down to ashes. To their disappointment, I still live. I am still watching. I am eternal as one would say. Emeralds mean eternal life.
